Tempurpedic Deluxe vs Rhapsody

Tempurpedic Mattresses have an excellent quality line of sleep systems. Two of the sleep systems that stand out are the Deluxe Mattress and the Rhapsody Mattress. Both created by Tempurpedic with their unique temperature sensitive and pressure relieving material.

The Deluxe Mattress has a profile of 10 inches with the option of a high foundation a little over 9 inches or a low foundation of about 5 inches. The mattress has a no flipping or rotating guarantee with its one sided patented design. The Deluxe mattress also has 1.2 inches of the Tempura mattress material that only Tempurpedic carries. The Tempura mattress formula has the pressure relieving comfort layer which is soft for enhanced responsiveness. There also is a 2.8 inch TEMPUR support layer, which has firmness to cradle the body in the correct aligning position. The mattress cover on the Deluxe sleep system is removable and washable. The soft velour cover is made with a blend of 75 percent cotton and 25 percent polyester and is allergen resistant.

The Rhapsody Mattress has a higher profile of 12 inches but also gives the option for a high or low foundation with the same 9 inch or 5 inch choice. The Tempurpedic Rhapsody also has the patented one sided design which means this mattress does not need to be flipped or rotated at all. The Rhapsody has the TEMPUR HD (high density) mattress material which has a much firmer feel than the Deluxe mattress. The material provides more conforming support for the body. The Tempur-Pedic Rhapsody mattress also has an upgraded Tempur-tex cover which is removable, washable and made of 100 percent polyester. The tempurpedic cover is resistant to allergens, bacteria’s, molds, dust mites and odor causing germs.
